So far as my experience can reach, Chinese have quite a wide range of unspoken rules in their everyday behavior and social activity, that is not easy to recognize unless you have lived and worked in Chinese communities for many years.

Social protocol must be different to that of western society but I do think that is not difficulty to imitate by way of lecturing in a class. With comparison to this sort of explicit protocol, unspoken rules and knowledge inherent in Chinese culture must be a much harder challenge to assimilate for western people.

In terms of an Asian point of view, western countries include European countries, (Old World) and all English speaking countries based upon Caucasian .

I believe that in French, "pays anglo-saxons" ("Anglo-Saxon countries") is the standard term for this sort of thing, but in English, people typically say "English-speaking countries."
