Do you think reading is boring?

Sure! But what the world would be without boredom? Boredom leads to the greatest achievements. As a fluffy white chicken, I had a litlle brain. But one day, I decided to read. At first, it was awfully boring and exhausting because my little chicken brain was too slow. But day after day and books after books I grew up in size and knowledge and now I am a Frenchman! In brief, reading is boring but rewarding! A book is a magical thing that can make a man out of a chicken. And if a book is really boring, you can throw it up and it becomes a weapon. Needless to say that from this point of view Proust is a dangerous and efficient weapon...

Nope. Of course, I love reading. A whole world evolves in my head that just cannot, ever, be matched by a movie.

Bonjour ! Hello !
As far as I'm concerned, I usually enjoy reading. I always loved books and especially the magic of fiction. But not all authors can write in a way I like. I read some that were really boring... So I think it's important to choose the books you're going to read very carefully, to avoid this kind of deception. Reading books in a foreign language that you're studying can be very interesting and helpful too!
Best regards,
Muriel
