Hi jihane how are you doing I'm a Japanese learner as well I presume you are in the search of a nihonjin language partner i already went through it and yeah it's not easy to find someone who push your nihongo to the next stage but what i can tell you that you can do is to learn by heart hiragana and katakana and as a headstart learn the n5 kanji characters those are like 100, read thoroughly the tae Kim's grammar guide which will give you a better overall understanding of the language particles, structures etc also the remembering the kanji is the holy grail for people who just want to skip the traditional methods which are deterrents in the long term just to finish look up the gigantic library of tools, resources spread all over the net i send you a big hug coming from a fellow learner

Hey Jihane,

Currently 2 months in on my Japanese 1 class, so I get the gist of very basic grammar structure.

But I'm just getting started on Kanji too!

@Wilson thanks for the n5 Kanji character recommendation!
