What is the best method to learn a language?
In my opinion, the first thing that you can do to become familiar with a new language is listening to music. What about you?

I think the best way is to teach this language. When you teach smb you learn more.

I think the best method is placing yourself in an environment where you'll surely die if you don't learn your target language seriously. It's an extreme example, though.
What I mean is that What kind of method you choose doesn't matter so much. Your motivation and continuation are more important than anything else,,,and that is also the most difficult thing, hmmm.

I listen to music and to youtube lessons in that language every day. Very simple cartoons and movies with subtitles also help. But I personally like to memorize vocabulary and learning simple grammar through a textbook as I improve my listening and pronunciation by watching youtube.

Hi Paula, ( In my opinion ) there isn't one best way. I think that my best way is different from other's best ways. So do what's best for you.

Hi.
I guess the best method is to find a reason to like that language... why do you learn it?
The second step is to find a place for that language in your life...daily life if possible... and then... you learn it before you even notice it.
As I see, you never learn a language if you care about LEARNING.... when you give up learning and start just using and enjoying, you start your real learning process.
