Are you looking for students or a teacher? I am a gay, an American, and I happen to be an English teacher on this website as well.  The only thing is I don't really seek friends online (per se). I view people that I know online as acquaintances more so because I consider a friend someone that you really know and trust. Being online, you don't really know people like you know them in person. It's quite different.
