我最喜欢做的是纠正他人的错误。但是，我并不是一位合格的有资质的老师。我只是喜欢语言而已。我也知道有用有效的教学是要遵循一定的技巧和原则。我希望通过这个网站能够学到不少关于这方面的知识。我在想其实我已经无意识的运用了一些技巧和原则，但是我自己并不知道这些，因为我从来没有参加过教师职业培训。所以我有个疑问，那就是：一个人能够在未经培训的情况下成为一位优秀的老师么？

"一个人能够在未经培训的情况下成为一位优秀的老师么？" Yes, I do believe that, if only the person can deeply understand the course teaching and is filled with enthusiasm to teach. Of course, what's the criterion of "a good teacher"?

所以，我认为母语者就能当老师的这一观点，基本上就是个笑话！
无论网络上，还是，现实中！
都是利益驱动下快餐文化的产物！
BTW, "self taught" is also a kind of "taught"...
and again, my stand remains that only fluent in a language without being properly trained (or self taught, a lot of thoughts being given to the "teach" part) can not make it a good teacher!

glad to see that you are kinda serious in discussing the questions...
Basically, I don't think anybody can become a good teacher without being properly trained...
However, by the word "training" I'm not meaning any sort of credentials given by any institutions or authorities...
to use/grasp a knowledge is completely a different thing in comparison to passing on/teaching a knowledge...
let alone that teach is a task that very hard to accomplish...
for most people(even well trained teacher), they might think that they are teaching, but in fact, they just engaged into this "teaching" activity, enjoying the processes, get paid, ...
but actually no knowledge is being passed on...
I think it is possible to be a teacher without being taught, but that really depends on many factors that make up the character of the person who is teaching. Personally, I'm realising that I do need some training, and I will pursue that in the furture.
