Many schools these days have problems with poor student behaviour
Many schools these days have problems with poor student behaviour.
Why do you think these problems occur?
What could be done to tackle these problems?
A generations ago schools were considered to be establishments with perfect discipline inside the walls. The stricter rules students had to follow, the highly ranked the school was. However, in many parts of the world, situation was evolved significantly. This essay will look at the reasons for student’s misbehaviour and propose some solutions.
One of the main reasons for scholars to behave badly during classes is development in lows related to children rights. While it was undeniably a great reform, it has also caused believe among children that no matter how they behave, low is always on their side. That means, that pulps commit whatever action they want with impunity. A solution for the government is to introduce lows which will consider teachers rights and think out a system of punishment for students whose behaviour is vulgar.
Another problem that needs to be considered, is reduced importance of secondary education. A hundred years ago education was affordable for rich people only. Well-educated children in any family were a sign of success and reason for pride. Thus, previously attending a school was believed to be a privilege for many. Nowadays, when almost all developed countries have a system of compulsory secondary education, education is no longer thought to be as glamorous for children at is was in past. In my view the main responsibility to tackle this issue lies on parents. They have to explain to their offspring the importance of education in modern world.
The third cause of the problem is that poor behaviour is simply a way for teenagers to stand against adults. That is to say, students try to gain popularity and respect from peers neglecting teacher’s rules. For example, when I was a secondary-school student we had such boy in class who constantly shows his disrespect to teachers and was extremely popular among his classmates. The way forward might be to introduce extra lessons in schools to discuss with students ethical issues and explain to them that there are lots of alternative ways of gaining popularity. Additionally, supporting all the ideas with examples of famous persons might be more effective.

In conclusion, misbehaviour is an increasing issue because of the fact that education nowadays is not so attractive for children and it is typical for teenagers to break all rules with they are suggested to follow simply as a sign of protest. In my opinion, both government and parents are responsible for dealing with this problem. This issue should be tackled as soon as possible, otherwise, we will face to the biggest issue in the nearest future. (430 words)
