Moving to Austria In September of this year, I will be moving to Austria to participate as a Fulbright AAEC teaching assistant. I'll be teaching from October 1st, 2012 until May 31st, 2013 (8 months). I'm very nervous about being away from home for so long, especially because I won't be able to see my family and friends. But in the long run, I think it will be good for me. If I plan on teaching English abroad, I must become accustomed to being away from home for long periods of time. Aside from being nervous, I am really excited about this opportunity and very thankful that I was accepted. I applied in 2008 and was not accepted. Now that my grades and recommendations are better, plus I am about to earn a BA in German, I finally achieved what I tried to do four years ago.
