北京：中国首都，元明清代古都。
西安：唐代文化遗迹最丰的城市。中国西北部文化重镇。
上海：中国经济中心。殖民地文化代表。
广州：南越文化代表，民营经济
昆明：西南边陲文化重镇。云南旅游集散地。附近值得去的地方真是多：丽江、泸沽湖、大理、腾冲、西双版纳。
成都/重庆：巴蜀文化重镇。
南京：民国文化历史重镇。
杭州：历史、人文、高科技协同发展的典范城市。

If your friend is interested in Chinese history,I advice your friend to go to Beijing北京,Xian西安 and Nanjing南京.Also he can travel to Suzhou苏州 and Hangzhou杭州,they are one of my favorite cities cause the buildings and gardens.Another city I advice him to visit is Hongcun宏村 in Anhui province.It is world cultural heritage.I have been traveled these cities that I adviced to,they are really good places!
