Good morning : 早上好 or 你好/ 您好 it is more popular. Good night: 晚安 你叫什么名字? Correct, but it's impolite. You can use it when you ask with your friends or someone whose age is more lower than you. it is better to ask "what's your name?" in Chinese are: 您贵姓? pinyin: nin gui xing? 您/你姓什么? 您/你是...... Note: 您 is formal word. It is used to talk with the old.

你叫什么名字? pinyin. ni jiaoshen me mingzi? Correct but sounds very rude.  Cultural differences.  It is better to say, 您贵姓啊? [Literally translated as, "what is your great/illustrious last name?"]
