a formal letter
Hello!
It would be interesting to know what native english think about my writing. Does it looks like a natural english letter? :)

You saw an advertisement for a tennis course in England but you have one or two problems and can’t stay the whole course.
Write a letter to the course director. In your letter:
• explain your interest in the course
• describe your problems
• find out if a refund is possible

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for the tennis course advertised in a sport magazine last week.
I am fond of tennis and have always wanted to improve my skill in playing this amazing sports game. When I found out that my favorite tennis player was going to lead the course, I had made my decision immediately.
However, there is one problem which will not give me any opportunity to finish the course. I am not a citizen of England and unfortunately, my visa is going to expire in 2 months. With regard to this, I will not be able to attend the 3rd month of the course.
Considering the rule about necessity to pay the whole course in advance, I would like to know if it is agreeable to refund a part of money for the course because of the mentioned reason.
It would be gratefully appreciated to receive your answer as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Dmitry Petrov
[Very good. ;) Mostly minor corrections]
