Nali Nali
Can a native Mandarin speaker help me? I have read a few times that if someone compliments you you can say 'Nali Nali' back like 'no its no big deal' BUT my Chinese Speaking friends from Singapore say noone ever says this.
If i were to say this to someone would it have the correct meaning?
And if 'Nali Nali' is not correct, what can I say?
Thankyou Very Much

"Nali Nali" means "Not at all" Chinese are modest ;So when they do you a favor , then you say "thank you" to them ,they usually say "Nali " "Nali" . .

It is perfect. It can be expressed as other ways too depending on the context.

It is correct .In China , if someone compliments you,you can say nail nail 哪里哪里, it shows that you are a modest and polite person. May be in US somebody compliments you ,you will say "Thank you."
