Human birds

While some people swing their entire lives on the same branch, some others stay in  a  constant flight. <em>(what about the in-betweeners, the excluded middle?)</em> If I had to put myself in one of these two groups, I guess it would already be already <em>(just word order)</em> too late to get a nest nearby... <em>(single word)</em>
