OK let´s begin :) By the different classes of words that for the speech.
1.The Prename:
1.1 Personal:
Eu - I
Tu - You
Ele/Ela - Him/Her
Nós - We
Eles/Elas - They
1.2 Demonstrative:
Este/Estes (sing/plural) (Only for a person! or personification) - This/These
Aquele/Aqueles (sing/plural) (Only for a person!or personification) - That/Those
Isto (ONly for object or situation!) - This
Isso: (ONly for object or situation!) - That
Aquilo: ONly for object or situation!) - That (something far away)
1.3 Interrogative:
Que - What
Quêm - Who
Quanto/Quanta (m/f sing) Quantos/Quantas (m/f plural) - How many
Qual/ Quais (sing/plural) - Witch
Quando - When
1.4 Denifinite/Indefinite: (Only before a substantive!)
O/Os (male sig/plural) - The/Those
A/As (female sig/plural) - The/Those
Note: This is the basic of the subject, there is more but since it is used in more complicated sentences we wil leave for another lesson.
2. the SUBSTANTIVE: (Put the Denifinite/Indefinite subject before!)
2.1 Personal: (For personal name, animal, location or a particular thing)
ex: O João; O gato; A mesa...
2.2 Commom : (A common name to people, animals, locations or things)
ex: As Marias; Os gatos; As mesas...
2.3 Abstract:
(For Action, qualities, traits, moods...)
ex: A justiça; Os trabalhos; As origens...
3.0 The ADJECTIVE: (Gives an atribute to the substantive)
ex: bonito; feliz; simpático...
