A Case of Mass Histery? About two months ago, more than 200 girls in a Colombian town named "Carmen del Bolivar" got seriously sick after being injected with the HPV vaccine. Until today, these girls cannot walk, because they suffer from strong backaches.Aditionally, they suffer from vomit and convulsions. The government said that this just a case of mass histery. They released spots on TV where it is said that the vaccine does not have any side effects. However, other cases have appeared across Colombia. Some girls claim to be unable to walk after having been injected with this vaccine. The Ministery of Health has refused to further research on the case of these girls, alleging that there is nothing wrong with the vaccines, and that this might be just a case of collective paranoia.

However, other cases have appeared across Colombia. Some girls claim to be unable to walk after having been injected with this vaccine. The Ministery of Health has refused to conduct further research on this case, the case of these girls, alleging that there is nothing wrong with the vaccine, and that this might be just a case of collective paranoia.
