Hello Bianca, I will emphasize Tony's words, right now I am also walking through the endless "kanji path" and I've noticed that the kanjis that I only write down as the kanji itself only are easily forgotten, whereas the ones I actually try to put on sentences were easily retained in my memory. Don't forget to not feel overwhelmed by the amount of kanjis you need to learn, after a while you will look back and realize how much progress you've done! Good luck and keep practising Cheers
