Malmo
(will be written in a kinda short form..)
Last holiday I went to Sweden, Malmo. It was a kinda complicated trip. First we went by a microbus to Helsinki and there I we got on another microbus and we went to Turku. The driver dropped me off at the Viking line ferry terminal. I had to spend ['wait' would be better than 'spend' here] about 8 hours there before departing.
I looked [you can also say 'I had a look around'] around Turku, visited some parks and museums and got acquaintanced acquainted with an 86-year-old man from New York who likes travelling, and who has both an American
and Swedish citizenship passport ['I have a British passport' is a usual way to say 'I have British citizenship'], but he was born in USSR :D
The ferry was more than 200 metres long and had 11 decks. There were many different things and places for relaxing and entertaining entertainment onboard such as restaurants, pubs, clubs, a duty free shop, gaming machines, sauna etc. Really nice ferry, nice smorgasbord, a lot of space to walk and look around. As for my cabin - it was a small one but it designed for two people (you have to pay the same price for it whether you book it for one person or for 2).
At 6-30 we got to Stockholm then I got on the bus to the central station, cuz [I see 'cos' a lot more than 'cuz', as cuz has a different meaning in London slang :) ] in 2 hours I had a train to Malmo 2 hours later.
Malmo is a rather big international city located in the south of Sweden and connected with Denmark with an by the Oresund bridge. The climate is kinda warm, at least in autumn (if you are not at by the sea cuz it qute windy there.. There lots of of nice different nice parks and [this is a list of only 2] museums all over the city. Malmo is crossed criss-crossed by with bicycle roads and tracks (maybe more than 30% of people there use bikes)
Why is this place special to me? Cuz I got acquaintanced with got to know a foreign girl on the net (she is from the Czech Republic) and decided to meet her there in Sweden. The funny thing is that we are both from different countries, met in the a third one and talked to each other in English (as the mutual second language) It was a really great time :D
Looking forward to the next visit to Sweden in winter :D
