I watched a rare traditional event of Japan. I sometime looked it in childhood, Then, the last time I was saw 30 years.
This event to do when the roof of a new build house is completed
At first, house owner and builders pray to God for safety build, happy and peace of family, and after ceremony, and next, house owner invite builders for some meal. Finally, this step ends by main event called '餅まき Mochimaki' is do.
'餅まき Mochimaki' means 'to throw rice cakes' in Japanese.
The new house build owner invite neighbors in front of house, and throw rice cakes '餅 Mochi', small coins and some sweets from second floor terrace toward neighbors and peoples catch it.
