2. I had to read it out because my teacher forced me to do so. "Read it out loud" would also work here.

3. I don't want to talk it over with you. I'd rather talk it over with another person.

4. Did you look through the documents that I asked you to do?

5. I took up learning bahasa Indonesia a few years ago.

6. I had to sitstay up last night for the important exam that will be todaythis afternoon.

7. I didn't dash off to work. I got up early.

8. Have you come up with any ideas for the project? If you were only asking about one idea, it would be "Have you come up with an idea for the project?"
