And, of course,* for both articles I prepared presentations and made a speech.***If this is written, I would leave out "and, of course". If youre speaking to someone, the phrase might be natural sounding.

Just realized, in the last sentence do you mean you prepared materials for both conferences? Or for both articles you also prepared presentations? If its the latter, a speech might be implied in "presentation."
