Lantern Festival Customs
Today is the Lantern Festival in China. Lantern Festival is on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar every year. The Lantern Festival has the following customs:1. Eat Tangyuan. Tangyuan has meat filling, sesame filling and so on.
2. Attend the lantern show. In some scenic spots, light exhibitions are usually held, such as the city temple in Shanghai. There will be all kinds of beautiful lanterns. Some lights also have riddles on them for tourists to play with.
3. Making lanterns for children. The Children will come together with lanterns in their hands to set off fireworks. The elders said say that on Lantern Festival day, if children were to shine lanterns in their eyes, it will mean that their eyes will not get sick they will not get eye problems all year round. (does not sound right to say "eyes will get sick" or "eyes will not get sick". )
4. Set off fireworks. The fireworks will blossom be set off everywhere, which will makes the Lantern Festival night look s more truly beautiful (or spectacular). (I think it is okay to say "fireworks will bloom everywhere ..." . It does sound nice to me but it is not very common in English. How will you say this in Chinese ?).
You wrote very well, only a few mistakes.
但是我还是不这道tangyuan是什么呢 :-)?是一种饺子,一种甜品还是一种汤?请你可以在评论中用英文解释一下吗?
