In my country, we have this tradition called “nujuh bulanan”. It held when a woman is in her 7th month of pregnancy. There are several rituals on this tradition, one of it is “siraman”, where 7 of the woman’s closest relative will shower her using 7 different sources of water. We believe that this ritual can prevent bad things to happen to the mother and the baby.
