Hello! If we speak on a topic "means of transport", can I make such order of words? - I usually go by foot to school. - I never go by bus to school. - I sometimes go by taxi to my mother's work. - I often go by train to the village. - I go by underground to the shopping centre. And so on. Or should I say "I never go to school by bus" anyway? #English, British

The usual word order is: I go to a place by a mode of transport - I usually go to work by car. However, it is ON foot, not by foot. You might use your word order for emphasis, with appropriate intonation, but it is not the usual word order.

My thoughts are... I usually walk to work. I go by foot. Apparently, I am supposed to go on foot. Either way, I will still get there. To me, your sentences are fine.

All your sentences are grammatically correct and easily understood. :) Good job
