Good luck = Buona fortuna in italiano.
Attenzione però. Gli italiani sono molto scaramantici e pertanto raramente diciamo qualcuno "Buona Fortuna" quando deve fare un esame o in caso di rischio. Usiamo espressioni tipo "In bocca al lupo" a cui bisogna rispondere "crepi" e non "grazie"

Beware! Italians are truly superstitious :-) and so, we rarely wish someone "buona fortuna" when there is a risk. It's bad luck! We use to say "in bocca al lupo" and the answer is not "grazie" (thanks), but it is "crepi". It's such as "break a leg"

You can say : "Buona fortuna"

We say "buona fortuna" or "in bocca al lupo". With the last one, usually they answer "crepi" even if the correct answer would be "viva" since it's referred to mother wolf who keeps her cubs in her mouth to keep them safe.
