Starting young certainly can give you an advantage because you don't have the obligations of an adult in most cases. As adults time has to become more specialized because we become more financially responsible for ourselves. However I believe if languages matter to you you will make it part of your career when possible. Plus as an adult you can better grasp technical concepts better then children.

As an adult I can either pay for my lessons and commit to it or waste my precious money. I choose the first option 🤣

As an child, there are teachers and parents encouraging you when you're learning a second language. However, as an adult, mostly you're on your own.
