輔導教師Why do we write O but say A?
In Russian, everything depends on stress. The stressed vowel is the strongest and the clearest. 💪💪💪
The farther another vowel is from the stressed one, the weaker and quieter it becomes.🐥
That’s why it’s simple:
a weak O is pronounced quickly, and it turns into A.
But a strong, stressed O stays clear. We pronounce it slowly and beautifully.
