I think I will get better when my parents support my choices, for example about job, lover, fashion style, or eating. They can give me their ideas about my issues but let me decide always. Plus, I feel really happy when they compliment on my achievements even it's just a little thing as a cake that I tried cooking.

Plus, I feel really happy when they compliment my achievements, even it's just a little thing, such as a cake that I tried baking/making.

I attribute the differences to trends gap. My parents had different trends during their times. And I am sure my son probably thinks that I am old fashioned. Hahaha.
