Why are there two different ways to say numbers in Korean? I have learned there are two ways to say numbers in Korean, and I am a little confused. First I started learning these: 하나, 둘, 셋... and so forth, but then I heard them this way: 일, 이, 삼... Can someone please explain to me why this is?

解答 · 2
1. 일 , 이, 삼 , 사 = one , two, three, four 2. 하나, 둘, 셋, 넷 = first, second, third, fourth '1' is cardinal number. It is for math and recording something's quantitiy but haven't meaning of order. '2' is ordinal number. It has order.
