friends, could you tell me are there any other ways to say 好久不见? not including -haven't see you for a long time. here is a common saying for it in China- long time no see- but I am wondering that is it right? and do you foreign friends accept the saying?well, it seams I made a mistake in the question, should I ask like this could you tell me there are any other ways to say 好久不见? or just say could you tell me any other ways to say 好久不见?

Actually, "Long time, no see" is a valid phrase in English and is used a great deal. It would definitely be accepted by any native English speaker. It's one of those phrases which translates very well from Chinese. Another phrase that is used is "It's been too long.", which implies "It has been to long since we last talked (or saw each other).

Yeah, that "Chinglish" expression to your completely suprise is accepted in English, slang and informal, though. I read somewhere that some people also argue it's not translated from Chinese but some native American indian tribe's langauge.

Long time no see 是'好久不见'一样. You can say 'long time no see' and it will be erfectly fine. Other ways to say; 1. It has been a while since we last met 2. Haven't seen you in ages (perhaps slightly informal) 3. Long time no see 我想还有很多就是我忘了
