Americans generally eat 3 meals a day: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner/Supper. The last meal of the day is usually the biggest meal, where the family traditionally sits down at the table together to eat. (With many different activities or schedules this is more rare in modern times).
Americans eat a lot of chicken. They also eat turkey. Duck is not real popular, although it is eaten. Beef is common and is eaten in these forms: ground beef, beef steak, roast beef, brisket and stew meat. Lamb is eaten at times, but this is not real popular. Pork is a popular meat. It is eaten ground into sausage, or ham baked in the oven, sliced for sandwiches, pulled pork, pork ribs, and other methods of cooking.
Most Americans have one of these forms of meat with their main meal of the day. They also cook something white, like potatoes, pasta, or rice. They also include a vegetable, either cooked or raw. With their meal, they include something to drink, such as cold tea, water, soda, juice or milk.
