Just the thought of you makes me happy. It only takes the thought of you to make me happy. I just have to think of you and I am happy.

You need to complete the sentence for it to make sense .Example: 1.The very thought of you liking me makes me happy. 2. The very thought of you makes me sick. Our relationship is finished.

"The very thought of you" This is means "The instant I think of you" More complete sentence would be "The very thought of you makes me feel happy"
