what does it mean = Anong ibig sabihin niyun?
salamat in tagalog is thank you. It means that salamat is used in your native language but in your language, it is a greeting for good morning or evening like salamat petang, salamat pagi. In tagalog, salamat means thank you. Philippines before has some muslim ancestry, which refers to salamat as "to god be" derived from arabic " asa Allah maak" meaning to god be with you.
