I will say : sk + "eye" or "I" + p (one syllable)
Not : sk + "eye" or "I" + py (two syllables. many people say like this in my country)

It rhymes with "type" when I pronounce it. Perhaps you'll find that helpful.

By the way it is "pronunciation" not "pronounciation". Pronounce and pronunciation are also pronounced differently although some native speakers mistakenly say the word pronunciation as if it had an "o" in it.
