what does yawnee mean?
What does this sentence from Cloud Atlas mean:
Nay, this life all rot n' lockin' no smile a' some yawnee.
I found the subtitle online. It sounds strange. What does "lockin'"(locking?) mean here? And yawnee.
And why isn't there a verb in it. Is that normal?

I don't know, it that specific one doesn't make sense at all. I think it's "no smile at some yawnee". but what is "yawnee"...
