Coming of Age in Korea
I notice that the age system in Korea is different from the normal western system. and Koreans celebrate the Coming of age when someone reaches 20 that year right? So on that day, do koreans celebrate this day based on their Korean age or their western age? ie. if someone is born in 1993, he is 20 this year according to western age, but he would be 21 in Korean age. then would he be celebrating it this year? or the year before?

yes, we celebrate it based on western age.
However, the age of legal adulthood is to be lowered from the current 20 to 19. So when the revision takes effect in July 2013, young adults at the age of 19 will reach adulthood.
