My teacher was very pleased with my exam results ? My teacher was very pleased with my exam results. If I use "be pleased with", I mean "pleased with a person". for example, I am pleased with John who is good at studying. So, should I use "pleased about or for" instead of " Pleased with" in the first sentence? That means: A. My teacher was very pleased about my exam results. B. My teacher was very pleased for my exam results.

"Pleased with" can be used for people or things. "Pleased for" means something else, and is generally used with people. For example, "You passed your exam! I'm pleased for you."
