Is 您贵家 not a polite/formal way of saying 'your company? I have just written an advert in Chinese advertising my services. The first line in English starts. If your company needs to write English documents.... I wrote 如果您贵家需要写英语文件. I was taught at uni that 您贵家 is a polite and formal way of saying 你的公司 (your company). However, the people that have corrected it all deleted 贵家 and left it as '如果您需要写英语文件'. Obviously this does not say 'If your company'. It says 'If you'. That's not what I'm trying to write. Have I been taught wrong? Should I just leave it as plain old 你的公司?

Chinese don't say"您贵家“。 If your company needs to write English documents=如果(if)贵公司(your company)需要(needs to)撰写(write)英文(English)文件(documents)。

您 贵 家 doesn't mean 你的 公司 you should write 贵 公司 to express what you want

u can just simply say 如果您需要写...... if u want to express "ur company" with a polite way, u can say 贵公司 您贵家 doesn't exist. in fact if this is used for ad, we never say 贵公司 we just say 您 in ad, 您 means all kinds of targets which u are focusing on. in letter or formal conversation, u can use 贵公司
