"Aprovechando que dejo de llover, podemos ir al club" would literally translate as "Taking advantage of the fact that it stopped raining, we can go to the club." However, we would be more likely to say "Let's take advantage of the fact that it has stopped raining and go to the club." "Aprovechando tu llamada, quisiera comentarte..." would literally translate as "Taking advantage of your call, I wanted to talk to you about..." However, this doesn't sound natural so a better option would be "Seeing as you've called me, I actually wanted to speak to you about..." Aprovechar = to take advantage of / to make the most of Hope this helps :)

Hola Juan, por lo general estoy de acuerdo con Katrina. Voy a mencionar unas opciones adicionales. ********************** "Aprovechando que dejo de llover, podemos ir al club." If it were me, I'd likely say something like, "Hey, since the rain just stopped, let's take advantage of the moment so we can go to the club." Aprovechando tu llamada, quisiera comentarte... Here, I'd likely say, "Wow, this is great timing on your part. I'm glad you called, because I've wanted to talk with you about something. This is a great opportunity." *** I hope this offers a few different helpful tips.

El concepto es que algo pasó, y asi que lo aprovechará. Algo inesperado. En ingles usted quiere mostrar que estás contento porque lo pasó. Puede decir "I'm glad that it rained, let's go to the club." o "It's good that it rained, let's go to the club" o "I'm glad that you called, because I wanted to talk to you about__" o "It's good that you called, because I'd like to speak with you about___".
