Answer: I don't have any pets

answer:?I understand that people are not understanding this question. The question is asking how many pets i have and i would like to answer no.
its similar to asking how many sisters do you have and answering that you don't
Example: Q:你有姐姐吗?
A: 我没有姐姐

How many sisters do you have? =你有几个姐妹?
Do you have any sisters = 你有姐妹吗?
How many pets do you have? =你养了几个宠物?
No, I don't have any pets. = 我没养(宠物).

Just 沒有 is fine if in negation. It is understood from the context. If you have, just say 有 and followed by a number, 有三隻 etc.

Its a question i don't know how to answer, its similar to asking how many sisters do you have and answering that you don't
Example:
Q:你有姐姐吗?
A: 我没有姐姐
