被 is a passive marker. I typically look at it as "by" in English. 沙漏被我踩碎. The hourglass was (stepped on and) smashed by me. 我被车撞倒了。 I was knocked over by a car. 纸张被风吹走了。 The paper was blown away by the wind. 让 and 叫 have a little bit of overlap, but 让 means "let" (somebody do something), whereas 叫 it's telling somebody to do something. 妈妈让我在地上睡觉。 Mom lets me sleep on the floor. 妈妈叫我在地上睡觉。 Mom told me to sleep on the floor.

叫 means to call however, it can be used as 让 for example, 他让我完成我的工作 = 他叫我完成我的工作 让 = let 被 = be + verb passive
