spelling question: why does the last l in unparalleled is not doubled?
The 'l' after a vowel should be doubled when adding the suffix -ed as 'labelled', 'controlled' , 'parcelled' and 'fulfilled'; however, it seems it's not case in 'paralleled'.
I know American English is more flexible than British English, and hence traveling/traveler is acceptable in AE,
but how could unparallelled is not accepted in neither of them? I think it is the accurate spelling based on spelling rules.
