To make the grammar correct and english make sense I have not always used the words provided. 1, He goes to school. 2, He went to school. 3, He has gone to school. 4,he went to school rather than coming home. 5,Rather than coming home, he went to school. You have some tenses (past, present, future) mixed up, hope this helps.
