he sounds good and sauced Could someone help me with this sentence: "He sounded good and sauced" it's from under the dome s01e01 around 1:15 minutes. What I understood. sauced in slang means drunk, or informal means impolite. So my question is if of course these two meaning that I found is right. How someone could sound good and at the same time drunk or being impolite. Any help is welcome. Thanks so much.

The phrase "good and" is an emphatic phrase. Consider it the same as "very" or "quite".
