Do you know how to sat "broaden one's horizon" in better ways?? Some students often use this phrase "broaden one's horizons", including me. However, I believe there must be some much better way to express the meaning. Please help. Thank you so much!

Broaden one's horizons OR Expand one's horizons is an IDIOM. It means you gather more experience, knowledge or skills example: 1 - It's a great idea for young people to travel because it can really broaden their horizons. 2 - Larry should go work overseas to expand his horizons. 3 - My son should read a book on often to expand his horizons, instead of playing computer games all day.
