What is the indicative and the subjunctive?
I was studying Spanish, and I came across the two types of conjugations in verbs: the indicative and the subjunctive. I get what the indicative is, since that's what we use every day. But I don´t understand the subjunctive.
What is it,
How do you tell,
How is it used,
And how do you use it?
Thanks!

Hey David. The subjuntive is a ''mood''. It helps in cases where there is uncertainty, to make polite requests, and to express hope, wishes, or doubts, among other uses.
Some examples would be:
Espero que llueva hoy.
No creo que vaya a la fiesta.
Quiero que me traigas el libro, por favor
El subjuntivo se puede usar en el pasado, presente y muy raramente en el futuro. :)
