Cheesecake in Chinese!
I am addicted from eating cheesecake.
It means,that it is very important for me to learn this word in Chinese
BUT
Problem is ... there many words to describe Cheesecake.
So dear people...
What are difference between :
乳酪蛋糕 , 起司蛋糕 , 起士蛋糕 and 芝士蛋糕 ?
Why is so many words to describe this best cake in the world?
Which one I should use?

cheese in Chinese is 乳酪.
起司 , 起士 and 芝士 are all transliteral words from the pronunciation of cheese.

I think it depends on which area you want to use this word in...
乳酪蛋糕 , 起司蛋糕 , 起士蛋糕 - more like Taiwanese style
芝士蛋糕/芝士餅 - HK style
Even we all speak the same language (Chinese) - the Chinese translation of western names are quite different...hope this is helpful :)

起司蛋糕 , 起士蛋糕 and 芝士蛋糕 ——pronounce english word cheese in chinese, “ qisi qishi zhishi”
like you say 中国,china or zhongguo are all right

乳酪蛋糕,起司蛋糕,起士蛋糕,芝士蛋糕,You can use either of them,plus another one, 奶酪蛋糕。All of these phrases share the same meaning: cheesecake, they are used by people from different regions. Roughly, 奶酪,northern mainland China. 乳酪,southern mainland China. 起司/ 起士/ 芝士, mostly used by people from HongKong or Taiwan.
