T'es contente cette fois-ci why use "ci"? Can I remove "ci"?

You could remove it but part of the meaning would be lost. "ci" shows some kind of proximity (in space and/or in time) in regard to the person speaking. In context, it can mark a contrast between a previous time (that would be "cette fois-là") when the woman wasn't "contente". So the speaker asks if she is satisfied this time, in opposition to the other time when she was not. The English equivalent would be: Cette fois-ci = This time here Cette fois-là = That time there (even though in English it is very rare to speak like this, this type of specification is common in French)
