how do I say something is like this or like that (i.e the bed is as soft as cotton, the tea is warm like summer)?

there are a lot of words can express that, normally,
you can use 像..一样（xiang) or 如同。。。一样（ru tong)
for example,
这个床像/如同棉花一样，这个茶像夏季一样温暖
