專業教師I haven’t seen you in forever VS I haven’t seen you forever
I got the answer from my previous question on italki, but let me ask me this question.
I was told "I haven’t seen you forever" is correct.
When I searched "I haven’t seen you in forever" on the Internet, 37,200 results were hit.
On the other hand, 34,600 results were hit by searching with "I haven’t seen you forever".
So does that mean that so many people say "I haven’t seen you in forever" by mistake? Or is it ok to say that in some regions?

I'll leave this one to speakers of American English. Both sound wrong to the British ear. I'd say 'I haven't seen you for ages/ in ages'.

I THINK I would say "I haven't seen you for ever" but it's a difficult question!
You could say I haven't seen you for a long time, and you can also say I haven't seen you in a long time, so based on that, I guess you could even say "I haven't seen you for forever!"
That doesn't really help I guess, it just adds more confusion to your question! Sorry :-)

I would not say "I haven't seen you forever." To me, it definitely sounds like it's missing a word!
I would say "I haven't seen you for forever" as well as "I haven't seen you in forever."
