When it comes to the subjunctive, what do they say for the preterite in Valencia? Do they just replace the preterite with the imperfect subjunctive like they do in Spanish? For example:

"I thought that you arrived."

Would it be something like "Pensava que vagis arribar."? Or something else? If someone could clear this up, I would greatly appreciate it.

I think that's correct, but it is a quite difficult construction and not really used by Valencian speakers. We would better say "Pensava que havies arribat" ("I thought that you had arrived"), for instance.
